Intercai anniversary 2010: 20 years Intercai - continuity by innovation

The Intercai customer event took place in its ninth edition this year. Over 100 Swiss managers and executives participated in the anniversary "20 years Intercai - continuity by innovation" in Berne on May 5. Franco Brazzale, Managing Partner, walked his guests through the past two decades and presented the highlights of the company history as well as the development of the ICT market. 1990 Intercai was founded and participated in the exciting e-business boom. 2000 the dotcom bubble burst, and Intercai grew together with the emergence of mobile communication. 2010 there are good signs for an economic recovery after another crisis, and Intercai intensifies its focus on ICT governance and outsourcing. The artist Pascal Dénervaud entertained the audience with his amazing magic tricks, which were rewarded with laughter, appreciation and applause. At the networking dinner that followed, guests as well as staff took the opportunity to recollect the past 20 years, to renew old acquaintances and to establish new contacts. Conclusion: a successful anniversary and networking event which allowed a confident outlook on the still strained economic situation.

Intercai consulting and project management - 20 years of success in the Swiss market

Founded 1990 in Zurich, Intercai celebrates 20 years of successful business in 2010. 20 years of continuity by innovation - a contradiction only at first glance. Customers expect continuity in the relationship, competence and quality, convincing references and last but not least a first-class brand. The dynamic ICT market challenges all players to be innovative and deal with continuous change. By committing itself unconditionally to its customers, by high investments in permanent education and time-tested experience in the daily business during the last 20 years, Intercai has proven both in the Swiss market and internationally that these assets can be brought together in ICT consulting. Intercai Customer Event 2009: Critical infrastructure - a balancing act between regulation and liberalisation

Protecting critical infrastructure does not come for free, liberalisation is just one price factor among many, and regulation does not stop at national borders. This is the conclusion of the Intercai customer event 2009 which took place in Zurich on May 13. Over 100 customers followed our invitation to listen to three interesting speeches dealing with critical infrastructure in terms of protection as well as risks and opportunities. These issues were examined by the speakers from the position of the government, of the energy industry and of rail traffic.

Second Intercai Energy Roundtable: Migration to FTTH

The main topic of the second roundtable held on April 22, 2009, was the migration of existing HFC networks to future broadband networks. Will evolution or revolution lead to the desired success? It was also shown that the supposed side aspect of the positioning of the HFC network operators is at least as interesting as possible extension scenarios. Thus, utility companies are thinking about present and future business models as well as possible co-operation scenarios in the FTTH area. Please read more in our summary (download PDF, in German).

First Intercai Energy Roundtable on September 1, 2008

This is the conclusion of the roundtable organised by Intercai, which took place in Zurich on September 1, 2008. Among the participants were representatives of various utility companies from Switzerland and the neighbouring countries. Please read more in our abstract (download PDF, in German).
